Description

  • Identify, scope, champion, and deliver high-impact cross-engineering strategic projects for Pinterest’s platform organization.
  • Lead strategic ML/AI platform programs across ML/AI Platform, GenAI infrastructure, and Agent Platform from ambiguity to execution.
  • Use GenAI as the default operating model for program execution, including drafting artifacts and synthesizing risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Prototype AI-augmented tools and workflows such as dashboards, data analysis helpers, process tools, and internal tooling.
  • Apply safety-by-design AI governance by handling sensitive data appropriately, validating outputs, and documenting assumptions and limitations.
  • Partner with technical domain owners across MLP, Agent Platform, Core Infra, and Ads to resolve complex cross-team technical decisions.
  • Translate strategic platform priorities into structured, milestone-driven execution plans.
  • Influence annual and quarterly planning, product direction, and platform roadmaps with data-informed perspectives.
  • Build and continuously improve scalable program management processes, frameworks, and tooling.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders from ICs to executives.
  • Own program outcomes end-to-end through planning, risk mitigation, follow-through, and executive representation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of TPM or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering complex, multi-year initiatives across multiple engineering teams and organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use GenAI to accelerate program planning, operations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms, including prompting, vibe coding, lightweight scripts, dashboards, and agents.
  • Comfort operating within AI governance expectations, including risk assessment, sensitive data handling, output validation, and auditability.
  • Working understanding of machine learning, GenAI, LLM serving and inference, AI agent architectures, DevOps, and systems engineering.
  • Ability to analyze organizational context, anticipate scenarios, and shape roadmaps aligned to company strategy and OKRs.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior and executive leadership without formal authority.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience creating scalable processes and best practices that improve organizational agility.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
  • Role can be situated anywhere in the country, with in-office collaboration required 1-2 times every 6 months.

  • Base salary range of $145,747 to $300,067 USD for U.S.-based applicants.
  • Role is eligible for equity.
