Description

  • Apply mathematical, scientific, engineering, and analytical methods to evaluate complex operational challenges.
  • Analyze personnel, funding, materials, equipment, and other resources to improve operational performance.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, and scheduling.
  • Gather, validate, organize, and analyze large, complex datasets for data-driven decisions.
  • Select and apply techniques including simulation, optimization, queuing, stochastic-process, and analytic hierarchy models.
  • Develop mathematical and analytical models representing complex systems, processes, environments, and resource relationships.
  • Conduct modeling, simulation, and what-if analyses to assess changes in resources, requirements, constraints, and operating conditions.
  • Analyze supply chain, transportation, distribution, logistics, and operational processes to identify improvements and risks.
  • Develop and evaluate alternative courses of action for planning, optimization, and resource management.
  • Translate analytical findings into recommendations, reports, visualizations, and decision-support products for technical and program leadership.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience applying operations research, data science, logistics, reliability and maintainability engineering, or related analytical methods.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and large datasets.
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, forecasting, optimization, and performance measurement techniques.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly through reports, visualizations, and recommendations.
  • Experience supporting engineering, testing, logistics, sustainment, maintenance, or lifecycle activities is relevant to the role.
