Description

  • Lead an end-to-end design process from problem definition through production delivery.
  • Conduct exploratory research, create user journey maps, and identify insights to inform design scope and decisions.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, user-centered stories.
  • Conceptualize and design innovative solutions and new interaction patterns for agentic AI experiences.
  • Develop highly functional user experiences and polished user interfaces.
  • Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into design improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers to build a user-centric product roadmap.
  • Advocate for design best practices across the organization and help shape design culture and methodologies.
  • Ensure high design quality across everything the team delivers.
  • Mentor and guide designers working within the team’s scope.
  • Identify new opportunities and lead initiatives that improve the Pigment platform and organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a product designer working on complex B2B software.
  • Experience designing agentic AI experiences is required.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, user-centric design work is required.
  • Deep understanding of design and product development processes in an agile environment.
  • Mastery of UI patterns, UX best practices, and graphic design principles applied to software design.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React for effective collaboration with engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design decisions appropriately for different audiences.
  • Strong product sense and business sensibility.
  • Experience leading and guiding other designers to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance immediate impact and long-term investment.
  • Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
