Description

  • Refine and scale core sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept.
  • Design, create, and present business solutions for enterprise customers to support revenue growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with strategic partners.
  • Respond to and support requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Represent Picus at events, panels, and webinars through business solutions and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are implemented and supported according to client expectations.
  • Provide input to product management on product development and enhancements.
  • Work with sales and technical leaders to define solutions for enterprise prospects and customers.
  • Travel within the United States for customer-facing activities and partner or marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and pre-sales experience in Security, Cloud, and Network Systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity sales engineering role.
  • Proven success working with technical decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of emerging cyber technologies and public cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Broad experience in risk visibility and prioritization, cloud architecture, networking, security, and IT transformation.
  • Experience architecting and designing solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and learn fast.
  • Located in the Eastern United States.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to senior executives (preferred).
  • Industry subject matter expertise and business acumen (preferred).
