Description

  • Lead and manage a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with third-party recovery agencies.
  • Monitor cluster-level collections performance, including resolution rates, delinquency buckets, and other KPIs.
  • Own delinquency management for the assigned portfolio and drive recovery of overdue payments.
  • Develop and execute collections strategies based on the nature of overdue accounts and portfolio health.
  • Control roll rates and minimize bucket-wise delinquencies.
  • Ensure adherence to collections processes, SOPs, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct daily monitoring and regular reviews of the delinquent portfolio.
  • Prepare and present reports on cluster performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Coach, guide, and motivate the team to meet and exceed collections targets.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in collections.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in a bank, new-age NBFC, or fintech company preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-motivation ability.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proactive and effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for decision-making and process improvement.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving collections targets.
