Description

  • Own the design, provisioning, and operationalization of cloud-native data solutions on AWS and Azure.
  • Translate client business requirements into scalable, secure, and performant data platform architectures.
  • Ensure client engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts and prioritize Epics, Stories, and Tasks to improve client data platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and expand client platform capabilities and service offerings.
  • Lead technical teams operating modern data platforms across streaming, data lakes, and analytics.
  • Provide technical leadership in client workshops, architecture reviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Ensure quality through code reviews, documentation, governance, and performance tuning.
  • Partner with practice and account leaders to expand engagements and standardize delivery patterns.
  • Mentor engineers and help define reusable assets, practice standards, and delivery frameworks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data platform engineering, architecture, or managed services.
  • Advanced expertise in enterprise cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and/or Databricks.
  • Experience with cloud-native data warehouses such as Snowflake and/or Redshift at enterprise scale.
  • Production experience with data storage technologies such as S3, ADLS, Cassandra, or other NoSQL systems.
  • Production experience with data integration tools such as Spark, Kafka, Matillion, Fivetran, HVR, AWS DMS, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Production experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, or Luigi.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience building automation with Python or a similar language.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, Flyway, and Liquibase.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across complex, multi-stack environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects for external clients in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including executive presentations.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in distributed, cross-functional global environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • SnowPro Core Certification or Snowflake Advanced Certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and exposure to data science or machine learning platform operations preferred.
  • Experience operating across multiple industry verticals in a managed services or platform operations context preferred.
  • Prior experience working in global or remote teams across US, LATAM, and/or India time zones preferred.
