Description

  • Perform daily field survey activities, including collecting survey measurements and staking for infrastructure construction.
  • Communicate regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives.
  • Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches, and base maps to support field operations.
  • Coordinate the survey crew’s daily activities and supervise, mentor, and train survey assistants.
  • Travel to project locations as required across Canada and the United States.
  • Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment, including ATVs/UTVs/Argos, tools, and materials.
  • Promote and follow Phasor’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Program.
  • Support surveying work on large-scale construction projects and related infrastructure sites.

Requirements

  • Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveying.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to travel based on project location.
  • Experience working on larger-scale construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday.
  • Successful completion of a background check, including identity verification and criminal background check, is required.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate field crew activities and communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with survey equipment and field operations is preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work on long-term opportunities in Canada and the United States.
