Description

  • Perform daily field survey activities, including taking survey measurements and staking out infrastructure construction.
  • Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches, and base maps to support field operations.
  • Communicate regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives.
  • Coordinate the daily activities of the field crew and supervise, mentor, and train survey assistants.
  • Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment, including ATVs, UTVs, Argos, tools, and materials.
  • Travel to project locations as required.
  • Promote Phasor's Health, Safety, and Environmental Program on active projects.

Requirements

  • Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial survey work.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel based on project location.
  • Successful applicants must undergo a background screening, including identity verification and a criminal background check.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with options including Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday.
  • Experience using survey equipment and field tools is required.
