Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for an outside sales territory.
  • Own net new revenue and gross margin targets for the assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for new enterprise-level business and contracts.
  • Leverage internal resources to advance opportunities and close deals.
  • Represent the company at events and trade shows to promote products and services.
  • Demonstrate products and tailor messaging to buyers and prospects.
  • Gather and relay market and product feedback to development and product management.
  • Stay informed about new products, upgrades, and broader industry trends.
  • Support additional products or brands as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales or a related field.
  • Experience with databases, data infrastructure, data networking, and/or SaaS is highly desired.
  • Proven top performer who consistently overachieves quota.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 500 and/or Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Experience selling into financial services, insurance, and/or telecommunications is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Experience leveraging partner channels, including SIs, regional VARs, and alliance partners.
  • Ability to manage significant, complex client relationships independently.
  • Ability to work with prominent organizations and enterprise-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to contribute to team success and mentor less experienced team members is preferred.
