Description

  • Learn the company, product vision, accounting domain, code stack, and CI/CD through onboarding and squad integration.
  • Work with a tech buddy and start on good first issues to get familiar with the development environment and codebase.
  • Build and ship product features to production as part of a cross-functional squad.
  • Take ownership of features or projects within the squad and contribute new ideas and improvements.
  • Collaborate on cross-team or transversal initiatives with company-wide impact.
  • Help scale the application from 30k+ customers toward millions of customers.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the engineering workflow and best practices within the squad.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
  • Experience with modern frontend and backend technologies including TypeScript, ES6, Jest, and AWS.
  • Balanced technical, business, and product skills.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging domain.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate ideas.
  • Empathy for users and a focus on solving real customer issues.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Remote work must be from a country of residence in Europe within a maximum two-hour time difference from CET.
