Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hosts and guests with questions about onboarding, locations, services, and bookings.
  • Provide friendly, efficient support across phone, email, live chat, social media, and other contact channels.
  • Help ensure a seamless, no-hassle booking and overall customer experience.
  • Work independently through a queue of tasks in a remote environment while identifying process improvements.
  • Look for opportunities to surprise and delight hosts and guests throughout their interactions with Peerspace.
  • Identify trends in customer issues and share suggestions for process and product improvements.
  • Support users on a Monday-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, with rotating weekend coverage two days per month.

Requirements

  • 1-6 years of corporate customer experience (CX) experience.
  • Experience with Intercom or a similar CRM.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and comfort interacting directly with customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and grammar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Comfortable asking for support when handling difficult cases.
  • Able to prioritize competing demands and work through a task queue efficiently.
  • Able to learn new technology quickly.
  • Enthusiasm for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty across diverse functional areas and geographies.
  • Sense of humor and enjoyment of working with others.
  • Previous experience creating online help resources (preferred).
  • Analytical skills (preferred).
  • Familiarity with third-party marketplaces such as Airbnb or VRBO (preferred).
