Description

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as an authorized person under properly executed LOTO conditions.
  • Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions, including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).
  • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
  • Support site work as a team member, including supervising field work onsite with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform operations and maintenance and physical labor at commercial and industrial solar energy projects.
  • Adapt to duties that may vary or evolve based on business and client needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.
  • 2+ years of renewable energy experience is preferred.
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail, with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Electrical certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements are required.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 100% across the United States.
  • Candidates residing in California, Arizona, or Texas are preferred.
  • Candidates must have held a valid driver's license for at least one year.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and perform prolonged standing and ergonomically challenging tasks in varied climates.
  • Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA standards.

  • Hourly pay of $25.00-$40.00 DOE plus per diem.
