Description

  • Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
  • Develop and maintain child themes and custom templates for landing pages, blogs, and marketing pages.
  • Customize and extend plugins with PHP while ensuring compatibility across themes, plugins, and updates.
  • Convert Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end layouts.
  • Improve site speed through caching, minification, lazy loading, CDN integration, and performance audits.
  • Use Google Lighthouse and GTmetrix to evaluate and optimize Core Web Vitals.
  • Manage WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates while implementing backups and recovery processes.
  • Strengthen site security using tools such as Wordfence and Sucuri.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams on builds, campaigns, bug fixes, and site issues.
  • Support non-technical team members with CMS usage and troubleshoot issues independently.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of WordPress development experience.
  • Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
  • Experience working with hosting platforms such as cPanel, WP Engine, SiteGround, or Kinsta.
  • Ability to build responsive, cross-browser-compatible, and accessible layouts.
  • Experience with performance optimization and site speed improvements.
  • Ability to debug issues independently and communicate clearly with non-technical teams.
  • Nice to have: WooCommerce store builds and customization.
  • Nice to have: Custom plugin development experience.
  • Nice to have: Technical and on-page SEO knowledge.
  • Nice to have: Git/version control workflows and CI/CD pipeline experience.
