Description

  • Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, custom themes, and child themes.
  • Develop landing pages, blogs, business websites, marketing sites, and WooCommerce stores from design files.
  • Customize WordPress functionality with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, and sub-three-second load times.
  • Implement technical and on-page SEO, including metadata, structured data, internal linking, and SEO plugins.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and customize plugins, integrations, and WooCommerce functionality.
  • Manage WordPress updates, security tools, backups, staging environments, uptime, and production stability.
  • Diagnose bugs, plugin conflicts, hosting issues, responsive layout problems, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, content, and development teams on campaigns and website improvements.
  • Test, document, and deploy approved changes through staging and production workflows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining custom and child themes.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first development.
  • Experience optimizing website speed and Core Web Vitals.
  • Understanding of technical and on-page SEO.
  • Experience with hosting environments such as WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta, or cPanel.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
  • Ability to work independently during U.S. client business hours; WooCommerce, custom plugin, Git, CI/CD, API, CRM, staging, or CRO experience is preferred.
