Description

  • Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, child themes, landing pages, blogs, and templates.
  • Convert Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch designs into responsive WordPress pages.
  • Customize functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and extend WordPress plugins and integrations.
  • Integrate CRMs, analytics tools, marketing platforms, and third-party APIs.
  • Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and mobile performance.
  • Manage WordPress updates, backups, uptime, security, hosting issues, and bug resolution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams on campaigns and website updates.
  • Maintain staging and deployment workflows and document technical changes.
  • Support non-technical team members with CMS updates and content management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or custom WordPress development.
  • Experience managing WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta, or cPanel hosting environments.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, website performance, and technical SEO.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • WooCommerce and e-commerce development experience preferred.
  • Experience with custom plugin development, Git, staging/deployment workflows, APIs, CRMs, or marketing automation preferred.
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours; candidates in LATAM, South Africa, the Philippines, or Pakistan are preferred.
