Description

  • Build and customize WordPress websites using page builders or custom development.
  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and child themes.
  • Create responsive landing pages, blogs, and website templates focused on user experience and conversions.
  • Customize site layouts and functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Install, configure, customize, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins and integrations.
  • Integrate third-party tools, CRMs, analytics platforms, and marketing systems.
  • Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
  • Apply SEO best practices including metadata, schema, heading structure, and mobile optimization.
  • Manage core, plugin, and theme updates, backups, uptime, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to launch campaigns, update websites, and convert design files into responsive pages.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
  • Experience managing hosting environments such as WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta, or cPanel hosting.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with website speed optimization and technical SEO best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • WooCommerce development and e-commerce website experience preferred.
  • Experience building or extending custom WordPress plugins preferred.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and staging/deployment environments preferred.
  • Experience with APIs, CRM integrations, or marketing automation tools preferred.
  • Background working with agencies, SaaS companies, or high-growth brands preferred.
