Description

  • Build custom Shopify storefronts using client branding and design assets.
  • Customize and develop Shopify themes with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Configure product catalogs, collections, inventory, store settings, access controls, and purchase restrictions.
  • Lead the redesign and rebranding of the company’s primary Shopify website.
  • Improve user experience, navigation, accessibility, site speed, responsiveness, and conversion performance.
  • Integrate third-party Shopify applications and develop advanced custom functionality.
  • Translate Figma designs into functional Shopify websites in collaboration with designers.
  • Manage multiple Shopify projects, timelines, quality standards, progress updates, and blockers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Shopify Liquid.
  • Advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
  • Experience building custom Shopify themes or performing extensive theme customization.
  • Proven experience leading complete website redesigns or rebranding projects.
  • Understanding of eCommerce UX, conversion rate optimization, responsive design, branding, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store configurations.
  • Portfolio featuring modern, high-quality Shopify storefronts.
  • Experience with Slack, Google Workspace, and asynchronous communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Shopify Plus experience, including Checkout Extensibility and Scripts, preferred.
  • Experience with Shopify apps such as Locksmith, Bold Custom Pricing, gifting, loyalty, or fulfillment solutions preferred.
  • Experience with B2B eCommerce, corporate gifting, or branded merchandise stores preferred.
