Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and document communications in property management software.
  • Manage move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and related tenant communication.
  • Draft, process, and track lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and signatures using e-signature tools.
  • Support property marketing by posting listings, pre-screening tenants, scheduling showings, and collecting applications.
  • Track rent payments, apply late fees, follow up on delinquencies, and prepare delinquency reports and owner statements.
  • Record and reconcile deposits, refunds, and security deposits.
  • Create, manage, and monitor maintenance work orders, vendor scheduling, and completion confirmations.
  • Verify invoices against completed work before routing them for approval.
  • Maintain complete tenant files and compliance documentation, including leases, notices, and inspections.
  • Support portfolio-level reporting, occupancy tracking, turnover tracking, and ad hoc administrative projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in property management or real estate operations.
  • Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
  • Familiarity with lease agreements, tenant laws, and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Experience supporting 100+ unit portfolios (preferred).
  • Knowledge of multi-state landlord-tenant law (preferred).
  • Exposure to property accounting and financial reporting (preferred).
  • Industry experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate (preferred).
  • Ability to work full-time remote U.S. client business hours, with flexibility for tenant schedules, leasing deadlines, and emergencies.
  • Experience using DocuSign or Dotloop for lease documentation (preferred).
