Description

  • Lead platform engineering initiatives using Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Design and operate CI/CD platforms and deployment strategies for safe, low-risk releases.
  • Build and maintain observability foundations, including metrics, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Design, build, and operate scalable and secure AWS infrastructure, including networking and connectivity components.
  • Own and evolve cloud networking architecture to ensure secure, reliable, and performant service communication.
  • Configure and manage Cloudflare for edge security, CDN performance, DNS, and traffic management.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
  • Strengthen infrastructure security and compliance, including IAM, network security, container security, and SOC2 alignment.
  • Define and improve service reliability through SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Reduce operational toil through automation, standardization, and platform improvements.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization across cloud and network usage.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including networking and connectivity design.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, with GitHub Actions preferred.
  • Experience configuring and operating Cloudflare, including CDN, WAF, DNS, and edge security.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.
  • Proven experience owning production systems with high availability, performance, and security requirements.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including routing, load balancing, security groups, and NACLs.
  • Strong understanding of SRE principles and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Hands-on experience improving observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-team initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted operations or intelligent automation.
  • Consistent, reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
  • Open to candidates residing in and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Not open to applicants residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Washington D.C.
  • Core availability of 8 am–5 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
  • Experience with advanced AWS networking, such as Transit Gateway, multi-account architectures, or private connectivity (preferred).
  • Experience building or operating internal developer platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SOC2 or regulated environments (preferred).
