Description

  • Support the training of large language models.
  • Benchmark large language models and compare model performance.
  • Prepare and evaluate training datasets.
  • Assist the core Pathway Research Team with ongoing research work.
  • Contribute to experiments on foundational architectures and new benchmark development.
  • Participate in hands-on model training and research iteration.
  • Help advance the company’s live AI and contextual intelligence research efforts.

Requirements

  • A cover letter with 2-3 lines introducing yourself.
  • At least one exceptional qualification, such as being an ICPC World Finalist or an IOI, IMO, IOAI, or IPhO medalist in high school.
  • A published research paper at an A-rated or A*-rated venue according to ICORE.
  • Completed coding projects, ideally with a GitHub repository showcasing prior work.
  • Previous internship at a leading machine learning research center such as Google Brain, DeepMind, Apple, Meta, Anthropic, Nvidia, or MILA.
  • A warm recommendation from a university faculty member.
  • Some experience in deep learning research with a track record in language models and/or reinforcement learning; vision or robotics ML backgrounds are also welcome.
  • Interest in improving foundational architectures and creating new benchmarks.
  • Hands-on experience with experiments and model training using PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
  • Good understanding of GPU architecture, memory design, and communication.
  • Good understanding of graph algorithms.
  • Familiarity with model monitoring, Git, build systems, and CI/CD.
  • Respectful interpersonal conduct.
  • Fluency in English.
