Description

  • Advance operations by implementing SRE best practices focused on users, monitoring, and automation.
  • Engineer infrastructure patterns for AWS cloud environments with security, reliability, and scalability in mind.
  • Design, build, and operate the data center supporting the machine learning team.
  • Integrate on-premises datacenter environments with existing cloud infrastructure to create a seamless hybrid cloud environment.
  • Improve infrastructure reliability and resilience through root-cause analysis and design and implementation reviews.
  • Participate in platform on-call rotations and assist with urgent incident response.
  • Manage critical production infrastructure through scaling and rapid growth challenges.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong automation experience using scripting, configuration management tools such as Ansible, and code in Python or GoLang.
  • Experience building monitoring infrastructure with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience administering physical hardware stacks in production, including tools such as iDRAC, IPMI, Nvidia UFM, or Juniper Systems.
  • Opinionated knowledge of storage solutions optimized for high-performance workloads, such as Quobyte, S3, FSx, or EFS.
  • Familiarity with modern network designs and comfort operating across network layers.
  • Experience with virtualization, containerization, or container orchestration platforms such as EKS, ClusterAPI, or KVM.
  • Operations experience managing critical production infrastructure, including incident response and scaling challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Benefits

  • Annual pay range of $165,750 to $224,450.
  • Eligible for equity awards.
  • Not overtime eligible.
  • Remote work designation indicated by #LI-Remote.
