Description

  • Partner with engineering teams to conduct threat modeling and design secure systems from the start of development.
  • Build and maintain automated security scanning, penetration testing, and monitoring tools in AWS CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead the technical implementation of controls for ISO 27001 and TX-RAMP compliance.
  • Lead security incident investigations and root-cause analysis, and help prevent recurrence.
  • Host workshops and mentor developers on secure coding practices and modern attack vectors.
  • Review architectural and feature changes to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
  • Automate manual security checks and improve the security posture of the platform.
  • Contribute technical evidence and documentation needed for certification and audit activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and other engineering disciplines in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering or software development with a security focus.
  • Proven experience securing AWS environments at scale, including IAM, network security, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ability to read and write code in C#, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with SAST/DAST tools and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Experience implementing security controls in regulated environments without slowing delivery.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure API design.
  • Preferred experience securing video streaming architectures or high-scale backend services.
  • Preferred experience leading incident response in a remote-first environment.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 and TX-RAMP compliance is highly relevant.
  • Must be able to work remotely in the US.
