Description

  • Evaluate proposals and outlines for audience fit, Jobs To Be Done, and competitive differentiation.
  • Perform substantive editorial work to improve structure, clarity, flow, and learning outcomes.
  • Own quality sign-off for products while balancing editorial depth and speed to market.
  • Maintain standards for plagiarism, responsible AI use, consistency, and readability.
  • Identify opportunities to create derived content and reusable learning assets from existing products.
  • Own product information, metadata, Amazon A+ pages, and other discoverability improvements.
  • Manage relationships with authors, experts, and technical reviewers, including coaching and escalation of risks.
  • Collaborate with Growth Leads, Relationship Leads, Program Managers, and Portfolio Directors on launches, positioning, and campaigns.
  • Monitor post-publication content health and recommend updates, new editions, or positioning changes based on evidence.
  • Use AI and workflow tools responsibly and contribute ideas, templates, and process improvements to the wider team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in editorial or content development for technical or instructional products.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured, reader-friendly content.
  • Strong author and SME management skills, including the ability to give effective feedback.
  • Excellent English-language proficiency and editorial judgment.
  • A quality assurance mindset with confidence in deciding readiness, rework, or cancellation.
  • Willingness to own content performance beyond editing, including multi-format enhancements and derived formats.
  • Familiarity with programming languages or a demonstrated interest in technology (preferred).
  • Experience with multi-format content such as events, newsletters, labs, or research (preferred).
  • Awareness of AI tools in editorial workflows or software development contexts (preferred).
  • Project management experience managing multiple priorities (preferred).
