Description

  • Partner with engineering teams to conduct application security testing across the product line.
  • Perform penetration testing on existing applications and new developments.
  • Run on-demand security testing for new and existing applications.
  • Conduct security code reviews with partner engineering and product teams.
  • Triage and assess reported vulnerabilities.
  • Help prevent fraud and abuse across Owner’s products.
  • Improve the security, efficiency, and usability of the development process.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and customer support teams.

Requirements

  • Experience performing application security testing.
  • Experience conducting penetration tests on applications.
  • Experience performing security testing for both new and existing applications.
  • Experience reviewing source code for security issues in partner engineering teams and product teams.
  • Experience working with and testing startups in this capacity.
  • Ability to write feature-level, production-quality code in an object-oriented programming language.
  • Flexible, pragmatic problem-solving approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong personal ownership and accountability.
  • Bonus: Background in bug bounty programs and exploit development.
  • Nice to have: Experience with B2C business models and related security considerations.
  • Nice to have: Experience with application-level alerting and detection.
  • Nice to have: Experience detecting and preventing fraud and abuse.
  • Nice to have: Experience with payment or financial security.
