Description

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js to deliver high-performance user interfaces.
  • Build and optimize server-side functionality with Node.js for scalable and secure e-commerce transactions.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces that improve the shopping experience.
  • Work with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver aligned features.
  • Optimize application performance, including page load times, responsiveness, SEO, and reliability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services for payment processing, inventory management, and other commerce features.
  • Debug and resolve issues across the stack to support high availability in production systems.
  • Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends to support innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web development or software engineering.
  • Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Node.js for building scalable server-side applications.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with ES6+ features.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API integration.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, caching, and image optimization.
  • Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL database systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Extensive experience with React and Next.js, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems (desirable).
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms or custom e-commerce systems (desirable).
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and server-side rendering (SSR) (desirable).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API design patterns (desirable).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (desirable).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive web design principles (desirable).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (desirable).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
  • A proactive mindset focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision-making.
  • Must not reside in AK, DE, IA, MS, MO, NE, RI, SD, VT, WV, or WI.

Benefits

  • Market-based compensation with location-based pay tiers.
  • Salary range of $151,300-$178,000 for Region 1, $138,550-$163,000 for Region 2, and $127,500-$150,000 for Region 3.
