Description

  • Take ownership of raw, unclean payment data and map processes to make it analysis-ready.
  • Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that track customer and vendor behavior, churn risk, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop forecasts for interchange revenue and operational savings to support quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze payment processing costs across VCC interchange, ACH, and check workflows to uncover margin opportunities.
  • Act as an internal consultant on resource allocation and optimization opportunities, including shifting high-volume check spend to e-payments.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and business narratives for the C-suite and department leaders.
  • Perform rigorous self-audits and reconciliations to ensure leadership reporting is accurate and defensible.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Financial Analyst role.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins and CTEs.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerBI and Excel, including advanced modeling.
  • Python experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience presenting complex data insights directly to C-level executives or department leads.
  • Prior experience in the US payments industry, including Interchange, ACH, or VCC, is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong audit mindset.
  • Ability to work remotely from Chile or Mexico as a contractor in a full-time role.
