Description

  • Leverage demographic and out-of-network provider data to target recruiting for network adequacy based on geography, specialty, and member demographics.
  • Deploy provider recruiting activities in defined expansion regions based on population demographics, healthcare needs, and competitor presence.
  • Assess potential provider capabilities, workflows, and staffing to ensure adherence to access standards and quality-of-care requirements.
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies to attract high-quality providers in priority specialties and locations.
  • Perform daily outreach and contact with potential providers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to present the benefits of joining Oscar’s network.
  • Document provider outreach activities and manage provider data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Pitch the network to prospective providers and guide new providers through the onboarding/contracting process.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and enhance the provider experience.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing provider contracting and network activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in provider healthcare recruiting and contracting.
  • 1+ years of experience in provider relations, provider services, or provider recruiting, including cross-functional collaboration to drive growth/expansion in one or more geographic areas.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work as a remote, field-based employee.
  • Residence in one of the allowed states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, or Texas.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in a healthcare environment (preferred).
  • Experience with credentialing functions and credentialing software (preferred).
