Description

  • Monitor incoming volume, performance, pace-to-plan, and service levels in real time across multiple queues and work areas.
  • Align and create clinician schedules and manage same-day urgent staffing requests for a 100+ clinician group (NP/PA and MD/DO).
  • Make real-time decisions to rebalance staffing, adjust queues, and modify schedules to meet operational targets.
  • Conduct retrospective staffing and organizational analysis to identify root causes and optimize capacity and outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for factors that impact staffing, service levels, and same-day requests.
  • Maintain an expert understanding of business priorities, Oscar's teams, and systems to inform staffing decisions.
  • Support clinician onboarding activities to ensure coverage and readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to staffing and operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in workforce management, clinician scheduling, or production planning for a multi-disciplinary medical group.
  • 2+ years experience using volume and production rate to determine capacity needs and handle same-day urgent requests.
  • 2+ years experience performing data analysis and identifying root cause.
  • 2+ years experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.).
  • 1+ year experience in real-time workforce analysis.
  • Experience managing schedules and staffing for clinicians including NP/PA and MD/DO groups.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Iowa; Kansas; Michigan; Missouri; Nebraska; New Jersey; North Carolina; Ohio; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; South Carolina; Tennessee; Texas; or Virginia.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings and company events.

  • Base pay range $63,200 - $82,950 per year plus eligibility for annual performance bonuses.
