Description

  • Map analyst workflows and define jobs-to-be-done to translate mission needs into measurable UX outcomes.
  • Design end-to-end prototype experiences, including flows and clickable prototypes for search, analysis, enrichment outputs, and reporting.
  • Define reusable interaction patterns that align with IAM, audit, multitenancy, and deployment constraints across cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped environments.
  • Run rapid validation cycles through usability testing, synthesis, iteration, and pilot support where applicable.
  • Produce adoption-ready handoff materials, including annotated flows, specifications, component guidance, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and integration backlog notes.
  • Champion accessibility and data-dense usability for graph, geospatial, and table-heavy experiences aligned with WCAG and 508.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and TypeScript engineers during fast prototyping cycles.
  • Support delivery teams in productizing validated experiences with clear documentation and design guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex B2B or enterprise products.
  • A portfolio is required.
  • Strong Figma skills and solid design-system documentation habits that engineers can implement.
  • Experience designing data-dense analytics UX for graph, geospatial, or records-browsing workflows.
  • Ability to consider performance and accessibility tradeoffs in design decisions.
  • Comfort collaborating closely with product teams and TypeScript engineers in fast prototyping cycles.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany.
  • EU or NATO citizenship preferred for export-controlled projects.
  • Experience with research or pilots involving government, defense, or public-safety users is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of modern frontend constraints such as React or Next.js is a plus.
  • German language proficiency at B1+ is a plus.
