Description

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for several group entities.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes and prepare related reports.
  • Coordinate with external accounting providers, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Ensure timely and compliant statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Assess complex transactions and provide guidance on accounting treatment.
  • Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired companies into the group’s financial processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or group environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including local GAAP / HGB.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English at C1+ level.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Experience working with DATEV, including financial accounting, asset accounting, and tax-related processes, is preferred.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and automation features, are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of VAT and corporate tax regulations is preferred.
  • High affinity for digital accounting and process automation, ideally with cloud-based finance tools or workflow optimization experience, is preferred.
