Description

  • Own delivery end-to-end from proof of concept through commercial launch across multiple African markets.
  • Bring formal project management structure, planning, and follow-up discipline to fast-moving deployments.
  • Manage client-facing delivery work where commercial agreements meet project execution.
  • Hold external stakeholders such as vendors, mobile network operators, banks, and utilities accountable for delivery outcomes.
  • Adapt plans quickly as market conditions change and impose order on ambiguity.
  • Drive action tracking and follow-through to closure without prompting.
  • Coordinate delivery across technical and system integration workstreams.
  • Work with development and QA teams in Agile delivery environments.
  • Support product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary Finergi presence in key stakeholder meetings when needed.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on project delivery experience.
  • Proven track record of taking projects from concept through to commercial launch.
  • Strong command of project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in payments, lending, or fintech.
  • Genuine exposure to delivery across Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Ability to manage external stakeholders in commercially driven environments.
  • Experience delivering complex technical or system integration projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and working with development and QA teams.
  • Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market initiatives.
  • Comfort being personally accountable for outcomes and working in ambiguity.
