Description

  • Lead and scale the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Operations teams across negotiation, supplier management, cost modeling, risk management, and cross-functional execution.
  • Build organizational capability by clarifying roles, decision rights, and ways of working, while coaching and managing team performance through change.
  • Establish KPIs and accountability mechanisms, and support executive communications on supply risk and sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with leaders across QA, Trade, Operations, Innovation, Sustainability, and FP&A to align sourcing priorities with growth, margin, risk, and working capital objectives.
  • Develop and execute category and multi-year sourcing strategies aligned to growth, EBITDA, sustainability, innovation, and supply continuity goals.
  • Create differentiated sourcing models, evaluate long-term supply options, and diversify the supply base to reduce climate, geographic, and crop risk.
  • Own large spend portfolios and the sourcing/procurement performance agenda, including savings, cost avoidance, supplier leverage, and risk reduction.
  • Review and approve major supplier agreements and strategic contracts, and ensure disciplined negotiation and commercial rigor.
  • Oversee supplier segmentation, performance management, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop scalable procurement processes and governance, oversee PO lifecycle execution, and ensure alignment between procurement, demand planning, and S&OP.
  • Track procurement KPIs, monitor inventory health and shelf-life risk, and manage supplier corrective actions.
  • Develop sourcing and procurement plans tied to demand planning, commercialization, annual operating plans, and long-range supply planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within food or CPG.
  • Experience leading and developing procurement and sourcing teams.
  • Direct experience with organic ingredient sourcing and agricultural supply chains preferred.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier strategy experience.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional MRP processes and the ability to interpret data for improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with change management and building or transforming procurement organizations in growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, regulatory, and organic certification standards.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment.
  • Up to 20% travel required, with travel a few times each quarter.
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be 18 years or older at the time of application.
