Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Core team’s domain and technology stack while seeking guidance to deepen technical expertise.
  • Build and deliver small-to-medium features with support from senior engineers, meeting agreed timelines.
  • Write code that follows established standards and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with teammates to understand feature requirements and implement solutions with guidance.
  • Build reliable, maintainable software components with a focus on quality.
  • Use version control systems to manage code changes and support a consistent development workflow.
  • Participate in team meetings and sprint ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues with guidance.
  • Contribute to the team’s delivery pipeline by supporting code quality, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Take part in on-call duties based on the needs of the assigned team and area of expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1.5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET.
  • Familiarity with basic programming constructs and design patterns.
  • Basic understanding of version control tools such as GitHub.
  • Experience with writing unit tests.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development frameworks such as NUnit or Jest.
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems and how to build reliable components.
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Experience with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot is used extensively in the daily workflow, with AI training provided to build proficiency.
