Description

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations and end-to-end accounting for assigned entities, including transaction booking, payment and expense review, and cash monitoring.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and review management accounts, statutory financial statements, Group reporting packages, and variance analyses in line with IFRS/HKFRS and Group policies.
  • Reconcile bank, exchange, wallet, digital asset, trading, and intercompany balances, and resolve discrepancies with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Handle statutory audits and tax reporting, including preparing audit schedules and responding to enquiries.
  • Maintain financial controls and accounting documentation, and drive process improvements and automation.
  • Support new business initiatives and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or a recognised professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit, or finance operations.
  • Big 4 and commercial experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience in financial close, multi-entity reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory audits, and management reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS.
  • Experience in accounting for digital assets is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight reporting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with good written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle, ERP systems, or data analytics tools is an advantage.
