Description

  • Hire, grow, retain, and directly manage a high-performing team of Professional Services Technical Architects in a player-coach model.
  • Mentor and up-skill team members, manage objective and subjective performance metrics, and support career and technical development.
  • Forecast resources, manage capacity planning and utilization targets, and ensure operational readiness for multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Act as primary customer liaison, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure customer success across the entire engagement lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets and financial expectations to meet both customer and Okta goals, supporting oversight for billings and revenue.
  • Conduct governance and audits of Technical Architecture designs and deliverable quality across engagements.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to the evolution of the Technical Architecture practice and Professional Services methodologies.
  • Coordinate change and escalation management, addressing project dynamics and concerns across multiple workstreams and subcontractor relationships.
  • Collaborate with partners and delivery enablement to address team performance and delivery enablement needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, consulting, and delivering solutions to external customers.
  • Expertise with identity technologies and protocols such as SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise web technologies and security.
  • Proven experience with resource forecasting, reporting and metrics, capacity planning, and utilization management.
  • Experience in process improvement, decision-making, planning, analyzing information, and developing standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently and work independently across functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (required).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%; Auth0 or Okta certification and CISSP are preferred/plus qualifications.

Benefits

  • On-target compensation (OTE) range: $233,000–$320,000 (San Francisco Bay Area) and $208,000–$286,000 (CA excl. SF Bay Area, CO, IL, NY, WA) dependent on location and experience.
