Description

  • Develop and execute a long-term plan to generate net-new logo pipeline.
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets to support year-over-year territory growth.
  • Identify, develop, and execute account strategies to generate pipeline and drive repeatable, predictable bookings.
  • Target, engage, and build relationships with appropriate decision makers in prospect accounts (Product, Engineering, Architecture, CTO organizations).
  • Scope, negotiate, and close agreements to meet or exceed quota targets.
  • Leverage partners to identify and open new opportunities.
  • Build and nurture effective cross-functional partnerships within the Okta ecosystem (xDRs, Partners, Presales, Customer First, etc.).
  • Travel as necessary to cultivate customer and prospect relationships and attend required in-person onboarding (San Francisco or Chicago) during the first week of employment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of success growing revenue for sophisticated, complex enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience engaging and closing with CTO organizations and decision makers in Product, Engineering, and Architecture.
  • Experience working with Application Development teams (Engineering, Product, Security, Architecture).
  • Deep technical discovery skills that resonate with developer audiences.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels and technical aptitudes.
  • Self-driven and confident, with the humility required to work effectively on teams.
  • Expertise with a sales framework such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler (Okta uses MEDDPICC).
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and to attend in-person onboarding during the first week.

Benefits

  • Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for eligible locations (CA excl. SF Bay Area, CO, IL, NY, WA): $312,000 — $429,000 CAD (inclusive of base and incentive); actual OTE depends on skills, experience, and location.
