Description

  • Finalize and operationalize the RAMP framework and integrate the program into existing Customer First and go-to-market rhythms (e.g., WIN Labs, account planning).
  • Embed with account teams (Sales, CS, Renewals) to provide expertise, resource brokerage, and executive air cover for at-risk, high-value accounts.
  • Orchestrate strategic account plans by ensuring the right executive sponsors are assigned, Compete resources are leveraged, and a clear long-term Success Path is defined and agreed upon.
  • Manage assignment and performance of RAMP Managers to highest-priority accounts, ensuring they effectively augment core account teams and bring the right resources and plays to planning sessions.
  • Act as Chief Architect for risk signals by assessing current indicators, identifying data gaps, and guiding Data & Insights and Ops & Strategy teams to build predictive tools and models.
  • Provide regular, high-stakes briefings to Okta executive leadership translating technical and relational risks into business impact and advocating for necessary resources.
  • Define requirements and vision for a centralized "Risk Command Center" dashboard that consolidates status, cross-functional commitments, and health metrics for leadership visibility.
  • Drive the transition of customers from "At-Risk" back to "Steady State," empowering the core account team to own the relationship long-term.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, or Operations at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Experience stabilizing or mitigating risk for complex, high-value customer relationships (e.g., $1M+ ARR accounts) or managing high-pressure escalations.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to drive business action and to translate stakeholder needs into requirements for technical teams and models.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating programs into existing cross-functional workflows without creating shadow processes or bottlenecks.
  • Strong diplomatic leadership and stakeholder management with a record of influencing without authority across Sales, CS, Renewals, and executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of building and deploying expert resources to augment account teams and of defining centralized reporting/dashboards for leadership.
  • Ability to remain objective and strategic during crises and focus teams on highest-leverage actions.
  • Comfort briefing executive leadership and advocating for cross-functional commitments and resources.
  • Leadership competencies or experience in building effective teams, developing talent, driving results, and applying a strategic mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to an office for in-person onboarding if required.

Benefits

  • San Francisco Bay Area OTE range: $240,000–$330,000 (annual, inclusive of base and incentive).
  • OTE range for CA (excl. SF Bay Area), CO, IL, NY, and WA: $214,000–$294,800 (annual, inclusive of base and incentive).
