Description

  • Develop and oversee risk management strategies across trading operations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and market risks.
  • Lead risk assessments for new markets, tournaments, and product launches.
  • Establish and maintain fraud prevention measures and operational integrity.
  • Provide regular risk reports and strategic insights to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6+ Risk Analysts.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, salary discussions, and offboarding with HR support.
  • Foster a positive team environment through 1:1s, feedback, and team-building activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve risk operations through automation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams on risk assessment tools and systems.
  • Prepare invoicing details and work with Controlling on financial reporting.
  • Manage bonus distribution and assess salary adjustments based on performance.
  • Report directly to the COO and participate in management and client calls.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in betting risk management.
  • Expertise in sportsbook products and operations.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial oversight and bonus distribution.
  • Strong passion for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to align risk strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Integrity, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • Comfortable working remotely in an international environment.
