Description

  • Monitor machinery and system status and respond quickly to issues to keep operations on schedule.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance, including inspections and cleaning, safely and on time according to procedures.
  • Carry out daily 5S activities across the worksite.
  • Follow the Occupational Safety and Health Act and internal safety rules, and communicate with safety staff as needed.
  • Lead the shift team as acting shift leader when the team manager is absent and coordinate with client operations leaders.
  • Collect and analyze data needed to improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve equipment uptime and site reliability.
  • Monitor equipment condition and perform repairs according to assigned and planned maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in projects to introduce new equipment and systems and lead assigned areas.
  • Support improvement projects for chronic site-level issues.

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese.
  • Knowledge or qualifications in mechanics, electrical systems, and control systems are preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG or consumer goods manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience in analyzing and solving on-site operational problems is preferred.
  • Experience in planned maintenance, predictive maintenance, or corrective maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience with automation hardware and software is preferred.
  • Experience as a safety manager is preferred.
  • Second-Class Occupational Health and Safety Manager qualification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with diverse stakeholders.

  • Rotating shift schedule of four teams and three shifts, with 8 working hours per day.
  • Day shift assignment may be available depending on project status.
