Description

  • Respond to mechanical and electrical MHE breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on conveyor networks, lifts, cranes, belts, and related equipment.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records, including work completed, tasks performed, and parts used.
  • Coordinate priorities and monitor KPIs to support customer service and operational goals.
  • Work daily with inbound, pick, dispatch, and support teams to plan labor and engineering activities.
  • Mentor assigned Maintenance Engineers and help manage maintenance priorities.
  • Carry out assembly and sub-assembly repairs using work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment reliability and support new and existing equipment.
  • Analyze data, attend meetings, and recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and safe working practices.
  • Support engineering installation and commissioning projects, including startup activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Vocational degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline, or advanced training with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Strong electrical experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Experience working with controls, fault analysis, and solution development.
  • Experience with both reactive and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using access equipment.
  • Good technical ability with automation hardware and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a practical approach.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems, plus proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office.
  • Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern, including days or nights and weekends.
  • Travel may be required during the initial 6 to 9 months for training at another North American site.
