Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, well-tested dbt data models across commercial, marketing, health outcomes, and clinical operations domains.
  • Set standards for data modelling, testing, documentation, and code quality within the analytics engineering function.
  • Lead end-to-end analytical projects, including requirements scoping, dependency management, risk identification, and stakeholder updates.
  • Mentor data scientists and analysts on data modelling practices, code review, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with clinical, commercial, and product teams to translate domain requirements into robust data models.
  • Evaluate and trial AI-powered analytics tools and help shape their adoption across Numan.
  • Drive data quality, reliability, governance, and proactive issue resolution across the transformation layer.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end data model design across multiple business domains.
  • Experience in at least two of commercial, marketing, health outcomes, or clinical/operational analytics.
  • Expert SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, advanced aggregations, and cloud warehouse optimisation.
  • Deep proficiency with dbt, including models, macros, tests, packages, documentation, exposures, and CI/CD.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clinical and commercial audiences.
  • Experience setting technical standards and delivering high-quality work in a small data team.
  • Pragmatic, self-motivated approach focused on high-impact solutions.
  • Interest in AI and emerging analytics technologies.
