Description

  • Lead the strategic direction and daily oversight of a key global client account.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior pharmaceutical stakeholders and advise on complex business needs.
  • Partner with Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to deliver integrated communications programs.
  • Manage account finances, including forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and resource planning.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for organic account growth and partnership expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Client Services team members.
  • Improve delivery processes and implement best practices to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support proposals, pitches, strategic planning, and broader business initiatives.
  • Monitor trends in Medical Affairs, scientific publications, AI, and omnichannel engagement to provide strategic insights.

Requirements

  • Extensive Client Services experience within a medical communications agency.
  • Significant experience supporting Medical Affairs and/or Publications accounts.
  • Proven experience building relationships with senior pharmaceutical clients and leading complex scientific communications programs.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and account growth.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing Client Services teams.
  • Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary functions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting business development, including proposals, pitches, and expanding existing client partnerships.
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused leadership style with a commitment to client service, people development, and continuous improvement.
