Description

  • Build and maintain reliable, maintainable pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and support secure, tenant-aware APIs for external data integrations.
  • Work across event-driven and batch-processing architectures to keep data fresh and consistent.
  • Design integration patterns supporting real-time and batch ingestion with authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for data freshness, failures, and performance issues.
  • Improve data flows and transformations while balancing cost, efficiency, and delivery speed in a cloud-native environment.
  • Partner with data engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to expand and improve the integration platform.
  • Support integrations across advertising platforms, order management systems such as Shopify and Amazon, and real-time customer events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or integration engineering, with exposure to ETL, APIs, or data pipelines.
  • Solid working proficiency in Python.
  • Experience building against REST APIs; GraphQL or webhooks experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with SQL and exposure to a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Exposure to orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Willingness to work in a Docker-based containerized environment.
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, API keys, or secrets management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or production deployment tooling is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, CDP, or other enterprise data systems and APIs is preferred.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures, real-time processing, data governance, GDPR, SOC 2, or multi-tenant SaaS environments is preferred.

  • Base salary of $140,000–$155,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and location.
