Description

  • Define and execute a risk-based manual test strategy for web and mobile releases, including quality gates and release readiness criteria.
  • Plan testing for new features, integrations, and market launches, including scope, coverage, estimates, environments, and sign-off criteria.
  • Review requirements and acceptance criteria early to identify gaps and risks and propose test scenarios before implementation.
  • Create and maintain high-quality test cases and lightweight documentation in a test management tool such as TestRail.
  • Perform exploratory, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing across browsers and devices with attention to UX and visual quality.
  • Investigate issues using repro isolation, logs, and basic data or API checks, and partner with engineering to triage and validate fixes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA practices through metrics, defect prevention, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor teammates on effective manual testing and quality ownership.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Accounts Management to support reliable customer outcomes, including e-commerce checkout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of QA experience testing production web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong focus on manual testing and end-to-end ownership.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Advanced test design skills, including equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, state transition, and pairwise testing.
  • Experience with cross-browser and multi-device testing, including mobile testing and responsive UI validation.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills using browser dev tools, logs, basic API testing tools such as Postman, and basic SQL or data validation.
  • Experience owning test artifacts and reporting in a tool such as TestRail, and working with Jira or ADO, or similar, to track quality through release.
  • Advanced English level is required for working with US clients.
  • Experience influencing quality during refinement and sprint planning is preferred.
