Description

  • Develop distributed microservices that protect millions of users against malware.
  • Build and maintain backend services in Go with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Deliver high-quality code for systems that must be stable, secure, and able to handle significant volume.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to design, develop, and ship services together.
  • Own architecture, design, development, and deployment initiatives end to end.
  • Contribute to building scalable software from scratch for threat protection capabilities.
  • Participate in discussing, refining, and redesigning technical ideas with the team.

Requirements

  • Mid- to senior-level backend engineering experience.
  • Experience working with distributed technologies.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally Cassandra.
  • Experience with Kafka is preferred.
  • Strong system design understanding and knowledge of when to use different architectural patterns.
  • Passion for building anti-virus or security-related products that improve online safety.
  • Strong backend architecture focus and openness to technical discussion and collaboration.
  • Ability to write scalable and stable code.
  • Experience with Go is expected, with additional exposure to MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Cassandra.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with 3 office days and 2 days working from home.
