Description

  • Lead complex data analysis to generate actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Apply hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time-series modelling.
  • Develop and optimise advanced SQL queries for large, complex datasets.
  • Use Python for data wrangling, analysis, modelling, and automation.
  • Analyse healthcare and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create visualisations and reports for varied audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
  • Lead analytical projects and deliver against agreed objectives and timelines.
  • Mentor colleagues and support continuous learning.
  • Ensure analytical outputs meet quality assurance and governance standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytics-focused role.
  • Strong expertise in advanced analytics and statistical techniques.
  • Advanced SQL development skills.
  • Advanced Python skills, including data wrangling and analysis.
  • Experience analysing and interpreting complex datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Experience presenting complex findings clearly and engagingly.
  • Experience leading projects, workstreams, or analytical initiatives.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and analytical best-practice frameworks preferred.
  • Experience delivering insights in complex programme or transformation environments preferred.
