Description

  • Design and implement classical machine learning and generative AI solutions for client projects.
  • Build robust LLM applications, agentic workflows, and retrieval pipelines from prototype to production.
  • Evaluate AI systems for quality, reliability, safety, and business impact before and after deployment.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into web and mobile applications alongside full-stack developers and DevOps.
  • Optimize prompts, system instructions, and chunking strategies for accuracy, latency, cost, and privacy.
  • Clean, process, and analyze client data to train or fine-tune models for forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection.
  • Participate in client discovery sessions and translate business needs into technical scopes.
  • Demo prototypes to stakeholder teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Review code, validate AI outputs, and contribute documentation and runbooks to the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Deep understanding of modern LLM architectures, context windows, semantic search, and generative AI limitations.
  • Experience building and operating production AI systems, including monitoring, evaluation, debugging, and iterative improvement.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation methods such as retrieval quality, hallucination detection, and task-specific performance measurement.
  • Exceptional Python skills and the ability to query, clean, and structure data with SQL.
  • Hands-on experience deploying ML or API services in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Comfort taking ownership of ambiguous problems from discovery through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up in a new industry and deliver a working proof of concept within a few weeks.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and comfort communicating with client stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
