Description

  • Build, scale, and maintain robust data solutions.
  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance data pipelines for extraction, loading, transformation, and orchestration.
  • Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud-native deployments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to turn use cases into production-ready services and solutions.
  • Own systems from concept through production delivery.
  • Implement testing and monitoring practices to protect data quality and integrity.
  • Develop reliable and maintainable data transformation workflows.
  • Support large-scale data cleaning, ETL, and information retrieval efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field, required.
  • Concentration in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or another engineering-related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Databricks/PySpark and dbt.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex data systems from the ground up.
  • Experience with large language models, especially prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and/or vector databases, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, feature engineering, and knowledge graphs is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
