Description

  • Own the AML sales strategy for the Americas region and drive AML business, pipeline, and bookings.
  • Act as the AML subject-matter expert (SME) for the Actimize direct sales team, customers, and prospects.
  • Enable the sales team with value-based selling frameworks, offering and messaging guidance, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to develop forward-thinking sales approaches and campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal teams (product, services, SMEs) to identify industry trends, inform new offerings, and align sales strategy and campaigns.
  • Support sales pursuits and customer engagements, including participating in contract negotiation and addressing revenue recognition considerations.
  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and support sales partners as an AML SME.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Crime/AML at a financial institution, software vendor, or industry consulting role.
  • Experience selling or implementing enterprise application software solutions (application plus services), ideally including payment processing solutions to compliance/operational risk departments in brokerage, banking, or insurance industries.
  • Proven experience selling complex software with a long sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to position the company, its products, and services versus competitors.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition.
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Preferred: experience or knowledge of Actimize solutions.
  • Preferred: experience selling or implementing AML or fraud products.
