Description

  • Support the Enterprise Greenfield Sales team with opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof-of-concept presentations, RFP responses, and business justification in a presales capacity.
  • Develop deep expertise in New Relic products and services to create customer-specific value propositions and product differentiators.
  • Identify and resolve critical business and technical issues throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Take technical ownership of the sales cycle and help drive opportunities to a successful close.
  • Demonstrate New Relic solutions and business value to audiences ranging from IT teams to business and executive stakeholders.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and internal partners, including C-level executives.
  • Promote New Relic’s product direction and strategic vision on behalf of customers.
  • Work closely with the sales organization to support high-value customer growth using the full product suite.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of pre-sales experience or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of common programming languages and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of value-based selling in customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • A balanced combination of sales, business, and technical expertise.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Understanding of network and system management solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with Monitoring and Observability, Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, AIOps, Logging, Data Analytics, or Visualization (preferred).
  • Knowledge of or certification in public cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • Experience with real user monitoring and digital experience (preferred).
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
